So with this far reaching range of influence it makes sense how certain people aspire to be musicians and are a success at it. An innovative approach is key to getting established and recognized.
Once you establish a reputation it is important that you maintain it. Consistency is equally important in music as anywhere else. The moment your quality drops people will be quick to pick up on that and resort to alternative bands or musicians to provide what you have ceased to make. If you’re known for wearing a full face helmet then maintain that tradition.
When people, particularly your fans, hear about something interesting that happened in your private life they will be naturally eager to find out what it was. This is the reason why controversy is said to pay because your fans will talk about you more and be more inclined to buy your music as the only source of truth.
But all of the above are worthless if you are impatient. Patience is the name of the game and you will have to endure the obstacles that may be thrown into your path. When you realize this early you won’t struggle with obstacles. There is no real need to stare at your men’s sport watch waiting anxiously for your break. It will come faster if you focus on your work and forget about the pressures of targets based on time.
