Of course, there is also the consideration of the price of the wedding band. You want to make sure that all of the details are outlined in your contract. You will most likely be asked to turn in a non-refundable deposit with your contract so that they can feel safe reserving your date for you.
About a week before your wedding you will want to call the wedding band to confirm the details of your event. You will want to be sure that their wardrobe is going to be appropriate for your event as well as that they know what time they can arrive to set up.
Since the wedding band most likely traveled a good distance to come play at your reception, you will want to make sure that you are providing them with a meal.
