McKellen over powers the monitor as the devil incarnate, with an intimate detail for every occasion. Visually gripping, often stunning with glamour, sex, medications, and brutality, and yet doesn’t totally seize the voltage. Cast includes Ian McKellen, and Annette Bening. (104 minutes, 1995)
Mexican Spanish Panamanian: Not simple to turn the awesomeness of the Jonestown catastrophe-where cult followers committed volume suicide-into dull tirade, although that’s what they’ve finished here.
